Katy Bassmasters Junior Pro Team has been in existence since 2006.  Through the club a
    youngster can develop an interest and love for fishing.

    Prospective members do not have to live in the Katy area to join. We have members as far
    away as Vidor, TX.

    BENEFITS OF PARTICIPATING IN A B.A.S.S. FEDERATION YOUTH CLUB:

    As a member of the Katy Bassmasters Junior Pro Team, you are entitled to fish both
    youth club tournaments and the 'Lil Buddies Tournament Trail'

    Youth will compete against each other in the following age divisions:
    Live Bait Division - Ages 3 to 10
    Artificial Only Division - Ages 11 to 18

    The Live Bait Division can weigh any species of fish (IE: Perch, Catfish, etc.)including
    fish caught with live bait as long as they are in accordance with Texas State Fishing Laws
    and Limits.

    Artificial Only Division may only use artificial lures and weigh-in Black Bass, Small Mouth
    Bass, or Spotted Bass. The minimum length of bass to be weighed will be 14 inches unless
    local lake rules differ. Lake Conroe for example has a 16 inch minimum for Black Bass.

    MEMBERSHIP DUES:
    The dues will be $10.00 per member for BASS Federation dues and $10.00 for club dues
    each year.
